Sweet Corn Eating Competition
Our loudest, most loved, fastest paced, and messiest competition of the day - people just love watching the Sweet Corn Eating Contest! Our competitors had all sorts of strategies for eating their corn. Some rationalized that butter would help the corn slide into their mouths more quickly. Others went plain thinking that a buttery ear of corn would be slippery and harder to eat. Any way they chomped it, this contest was full of corny laughter.

Corn Shelling Competition
Fun for all ages in this fast paced competition. The goal was to be the first person to get all of the kernels off of the cob. Kernels were flying everywhere! We even had some heats that ended too close to call - a tie!

Corn Husking Competition
This activity designed specifically for the youngsters in the crowd was lots of fun. Each participant had to pull all the husks from their ear of corn. First person with a clean ear of corn was declared the winner. At the end, everyone got a prize just for participating.
